Living in the Netherlands, means must be ready with all sorts of things named EXPENSIVE! With limited scholarship money, the desire to make the roads around Europe just to save disiasati. However, I am not the type of person who can save, let alone have to save more money to eat. So, look for additional work is one solution. Some additional work I've ever done is the cleaning service and waiters in restaurants. A lot like grief. Like when we paid 'enough' big. Makes me feel really lucky. Yes, imagine aja, from just work and school lavatories bersihin for two hours a day, I get a salary roughly equal to 4 million dollars a month. So, my lust roads can be taken from money that course. Her grief is when a waiter at a restaurant impromptu night market, I and friends are not paid because the owner just disappeared. What makes us more and mumps are: an Indonesian restaurant owner! Truly the heart is. Hopefully, he opened the door of his heart.

After several weeks of silence in The Hague, I finally managed to get four lucky enough bike wreck that collected in a bin elite apartment in Scheveningen. Once cleaned and sorted, voila! Thus was born a beautiful bike jumble of gray. Fair had a free bike. Brands in the frame Fongers, same bike brand Kakung my late grandmother, a former clerk in Central Java. With accessory lights and a large luggage bag free green tacky inscribed "Konmar", be a loyal friend to accompany the Fongers my study trip. The bike long enough tireless drive me everywhere, including seeking additional euro as a common practice in European university students. Until one night, after visiting a friend who lives near The Hague Centraal Station, in the parking lot as usual I squinted to find a piece of garish green color of the luggage bag Fongers. However, this time looking for invisible. "Loh kok not exist?" But my heart remains calm. "No way I lost my bike," I'm still optimistic. Twenty minutes went by I finally let go, "Ilang the Fongers deh." Although the bike is missing, the liver is actually giggled. If it is brightly lit parking lot just a drunken thief or less sane who would nyolong my bike. What is not, after almost a year being tortured now the bike was dying. Girnya ambrol, ready to hang off the pedal at any time. Similarly, chains, couplings everywhere, ready to drop out at any time. Finally, while I smile chasing the last tram while praying that the thief did not keseruduk tram because of the dying Fongers cranky when dikayuh.

Tentang Penulis

Wahyuningrat
Gue dan beberapa teman sekelas terpilih untuk menghadiri undangan The Fifth Anniversary of the Prince Claus Chair in Development and Equity di Paleis Noordeinde, The Haque.

Biasanya kalau kantong kering jadi kurang semangat menyambut weekend. Untungnya saya dan beberapa teman dekat sama-sama punya Pathé Unlimited, kartu anggota Bioskop Pathé. Bayar abonemen 17 euro per bulan, boleh nonton sampai botak gondrong. Dari botak sampai gondrong lagi nggak kelar-kelar nontonnya, hehehe. Lumayan juga, mengingat sekali nonton harganya 8 euro. Makanya kita sering mencanangkan "Hari Nonton Sampai Jereng” tiap akhir bulan. Biar miskin tetap berasa tajir, berkat kartu Pathé!
Puas abis nonton seharian, kita masih pengen ngopi-ngopi, tapi nggak punya duit. What to do?

Namun, hati saya tetap tenang. “Nggak mungkin sepeda saya hilang,” saya masih optimis. Dua puluh menit berlalu akhirnya saya pasrah, “Ilang deh si Fongers”.
